Ok, so I've been planning on redesigning the site for months.

Spring quarter is killing me. So bite me. ;)

While reading the online course schedule for fall semester at the University of Florida site, I found a couple of classes that I'll likely be taking. One of them is during time period 2, which means it meets at 8:30am.

I then went to the bus website, and looked up how that works in terms of where I want to live.

I'd have to be on the bus at 7:53am. Ew. I mean, seriously--ew.

Ok, I've been on a scholarly binge for the last two weeks, which has kept me away from things such as this. I'm back now, sitting in the MGH CRC listening to bad(read: good, in a way that makes me smile weirdly) country music and typing in the blog.

Sometime in the next few days, I'll post the results of that scholarly binge. I went back in time six hundred years and met an absolutely amazing person who was centuries ahead of her time. Her name was Christine de Pisan, and she was the first feminist, France's first woman of letters; the first woman who actually stood up and challenged fourteen hundred years of misogyny and ideas that we, today, know to be crazy.

(Imagine what we'll "know to be crazy" about today's society in six hundred years. Cool thought.)
