General Rules

1. To join the RPG, you must first fill out an application. Do not e-mail the site and/or RP admin asking to play without having filled out an application.

2. If your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail reply with a link to the RP forum with further instructions on how to join. If you have access to the forum somehow before your application is approved, please do NOT join beforehand. If you choose to ignore the rules and do so anyway, we WILL take that into consideration and quite possibly reject it.

3. Do not harass the other players in any way for any reason. If you do not like how someone is treating you, please alert the game admin.

4.Use proper spelling and grammar. The game flows much easier for everyone when they know what you are saying. Also, no l331, chatspeak, or emoticons allowed on the RP forum threads. Keep it to the OOC threads only.

5.No one-lining. This RP is focused around character growth and plot development, and posting something like "I ate a sandwich, it was fun" isn't going to achieve that.

6. Applications must be given to prove that you play the character you are applying for well. Players are allowed up to three characters, but you must submit an application for each one. No original characters allowed.

7. You will be given a total of two warnings before being removed from the game for breaking rules. Please note that if you have multiple characters and are removed from the game, it means you lose them all and not just one of them. Also, if the rule you broke was quite severe, such as harassing another player, you won't be allowed warnings.

In-Game Rules

1. While romance is allowed, it is not the focus of this RP; character growth and plot development are. If there is any NC-17 material, please keep it in private chats; DO NOT POST IT. In addition, keep in mind that yaoi/yuri/het are all allowed. Tolerance for that type of material would be appreciated.

2. We would appreciate if language is kept in character and reasonable. No blatant swearing at the game admins, either; we will not take you seriously if you cannot describe your problems tactfully.

3. If your character is needed in one scenario, you should be prepared to interact as often as necessary until that scenario is completed.

4. Do not give your character sudden skills or abilities they should not have. Any skills/abilities they do have MUST have official proof or be reasonable for the character. (Example: Futch is not the type to know how to attach runes, and Sarah will not be able to use a sword without character growth.)

5. "Twinking" is not allowed. The term "twinking" means using another player's character in your post, choosing what that character says and does. Not only is this impolite, but it's also highly possible you could cause the "burrowed" character to react in such a way that said character's original player would not. If you need to interact with a certain character, please ask the player to RP that interaction with you, via chatting, email, or some other method, and THEN post it.
